Golden Wannabes Wanna Be Adopted

Ernie - We found him sitting at the shelter, where he'd been for 10 days. He was nervous and stressed out. Once we got him out of that place, he chilled out, was friendly, playful, and able to be himself. We found him to be a nice, loveable dog who likes other dogs, especially likes people but, not cats. He needs to put on some weight, but other than that, he's a healthy guy. We estimate him to be about 7 years young.

Rudy - At 18 months, he finds himself looking for a new home because of a divorce. We need an experienced dog person for him because he's not had much training. As is the case with most dogs, once he knows what it is you expect of him, he'll be more than willing to accept that.  He'll do best in a household with no children.
Kyra - She's an 8-year-old cutie patootie who is a model family member. Kyra is good with everyone--kids, dogs and cats. She has the "itchies" right now, but we'll be getting the vet to check her out. Hopefully, it's just a change in diet. Still an active dog, she'll appreciate any attention you give her.
Zeke - His family is too busy with their toddler to spend any time with him anymore. He's 4 years old, good with dogs and cats. He'll do best in a home with no children.
Casey - There isn't much to say about this 6-month-old puppy that isn't typical of a golden pup. He likes people, other dogs and kids. He likes to play, run, eat, sleep, and is a very happy dog. He likes long walks on the beach--oh, wait, that's me. The only thing he doesn't like is the fact that he needs a new home. How about making this little guy a good offer.
Chip - This senior male, who's as sweet as can be, is looking for someone to love him. When you talk to him, he rolls over, waiting for a belly rub. Pulled from a shelter, Chip is heartworm positive and will be getting his treatment momentarily. We expect a full recovery and know that he'll be good as new. Won't you please consider making the second half of Chip's life better than the first?
Sadie - At two years old, this little lady is recuperating from knee surgery to repair an injury. Although she's a bit of a mix, when you see her in person, you think golden. Sadie is a very sweet dog, a bit on the shy side at first, but quick to warm up. She is good with kids, other dogs and even cats.
Cody - We spotted him at the shelter, with those big eyes just begging for help. He's about 8 years old and heartworm positive. We see golden and lab in him, but his personality is totally golden. He's been a real gentleman in our custody and will make a wonderful addition to any family. He's good with kids, cats and other dogs.

Alex - This barely-senior dog, at 8 years old, was left by his family at the shelter because they couldn't take care of him anymore. Seems they hadn't been taking care of him much previously, since he was heartworm positive. He's had his initial treatment and is doing fine. The rest of his treatment (quiet time) can be done in a new home. Alex is a little guy, good with cats, kids and other dogs.
Nike - This cutie is 6 years old. He's a sweet dog who hasn't been able to catch a break. Unable to walk him or take care of his outdoor activity, his elderly previous owners tried to do right by him, but Nike ended up living down the basement for 3 years. Now that he's seen the light of day, he loves it! Anxious to find a new family, he's adjusting well and we're sure, with some much-needed TLC, he'll be on his way to a normal, loving life. Won't you help show Nike that there's a whole new world out there for him?
Daisy - Cute as a button, this little gal is 18 months old. She was left at a shelter by her owners because they didn't have time for her. Daisy gets along well with everybody--dogs, kids, cats. She's an active, typical golden, still in the puppy stages. A fine addition to any home.

We'd like to adopt Daisy and Beau as a pair if possible. They met and fell in love in foster care!!

Beau - Here's another case of "no time" for him. Left at the shelter, we were lucky enough to get our hands on him. He's about 2 years old, likes canine and feline friends, but most of all he loves people. He's actively looking for a home where he can fit it quickly.

We'd like to adopt Daisy and Beau as a pair if possible. They met and fell in love in foster care!!

Sam - At 4 years old, this fella was originally found as a stray. He was welcomed into the family and settled in. Now there's a young child around and he's been a little nervous. So, to give everybody peace of mind, we're looking for a family with older children. He's also good with cats and other dogs.

Muffy - She's an 8-year-old sweetie who is a little confused right now. Her owner left her with a relative and never took her back! That's where the confusion comes in. She's good with everyone and everything. She likes other dogs, is good with kids of all ages, even likes cats. One of her favorite things to do is ride in a car. She wants to lose about 10 lbs. (don't we all) and walks great on a leash.
Blaze - Saved from being put down at a shelter, this young guy is about 10 months old, give or take a few months. He's good with everybody, including other dogs, kids and cats. We know he'll make a great addition to a new family, when given the chance.
Teddy - He's been a wonderful pet for 7 years. But then the kids started coming and things changed. The previous owners observed that the children made him nervous, so they decided to let us find him a new home, preferably without young kids. Other than that, he's ready to go into a new home to become a wonderful pet in a new home.
Penny - These two great dogs (Penny and her pal, Rocky) are househunting because their owner died and no one in the family could take them in. Both are excellent family members, eager to please and totally confused right now. They're good with kids and dogs, but we're not sure about cats yet. Penny is 7.
Rocky - He's best friends with Penny and has the same sad story. His owner died, leaving him without a place to call his own. At this point in his life (he's 9) he thought he had it made. Unfortunately, that's not the case and he's in need of a new family to call his own. He, also, is good with kids and dogs. Won't you open your heart and home to him?
Hudson - We found him waiting for someone to come and get him from the shelter. As luck would have it, that someone was from Golden Treasures. He doesn't know how lucky he is. We're estimating him to be 5 years old. His temperament is typical golden--loveable, eager to please, people-oriented. How about continuing his good luck streak!
Duncan - He's lost his home through no fault of his own. Which isn't unusual for lots of our golden treasures. He's only 6 months old. His owners came to the conclusion that they don't have time for him. And, anyway, their 3-year-old is afraid of him. So, we're sure it's because he has been acting just like a 6-month-old golden, jumping, playing, giving kisses, trying to fit in. Will he fit in with your family?
