Roscoe Roscoe was adopted about 16 months ago from Golden Treasures. He came into our life for support and friendship for our other Golden and has quickly become ruler of the house and member of the family. We already had two Goldens at home when Roscoe was adopted. Our eldest, Molson, was diagnosed with cancer and was going to therapy 2 to 3 times a week. We noticed how incredible lonely Jake was whenever Molson had to go away. Our vet said that we might want to think about getting a third dog that could play with Jake. After weeks of begging, my husband gave in.
We introduced Roscoe to the other two in a neutral location and all seemed to get along fine. We packed 210 lbs. of dog in our car and headed back to Columbus. Within hours of getting Roscoe home, he had made friends with Molson and Jake, found the food bowl and picked a favorite spot on the couch. As I lay here typing I can hear him and Jake playing downstairs. We, unfortunately, lost Molson to his illness 3 weeks ago today. I can not imagine what I would have done if Roscoe and Jake were not at home waiting for me to return. Roscoe has had a hard time dealing with losing Molson, but he is starting to get back to his ornery self. I am so glad that my vet urged me to adopt another dog and I am so grateful that I found Golden Treasures. I can’t imagine my life without my furry friends.
